Watch their "sparring" again. Björn did throw not one punch at him with force he just played touchy touchy. I am pretty sure there were stipulations for this "sparring". Thats why Björn had no gloves on and tried no takedown etc. He would not need skill for that with this size difference. Honestly Conor shows of like a complete asshole. Punches him with force and knows he gets no payback.

Put both with mma gloves and rules into the octagon. I guarantee you Conor would never agree to such a sparring.

Conor is a child in comparison. We're not talking light heavyweights, heavyweights or even middleweights here. We're talking about a 5'8 lightweight.

Doesn't matter...conor fights for a living. that guy lifts weights and does strong man competitions...completely different things...That's like taking a big defensive linebacker in the nfl and putting him against conor, in an mma fight....what do you honestly think would happen? Early UFC's saw guys around 200 lbs beat big giants, none as strong as Hafthor though.

That being said Conor is 170 and Hafthor is very athletic for his huge size.

If Conor can dance around and evade the clinch long enough for Hafthor to gas then he tko's him with the accumulation of volume. Hafthor probably wouldn't get KO'd but his face would be an absolute mess. Broken bones and lacerations.

On the other hand if Hafthor can get a hold of him he might be able to power bomb Conor to death. Also, on top in a dominant position or even guard he could potentially donkey kong or smother Conor. I don't know how strong you have to be to break bones or tear muscles and connective tissue with just barehands on a struggling opponent, but any grappling scramble could get awkward and has risk of Conor tearing something essential like an ACL from Hafthor falling on him.

Summation: 50/50 to Conor wins with high difficulty/strict game plan.

We're talking about a real fight and you're using a clip of boxing sparring with a guy who's really not even in shape. If that's not an HGH gut he's just fat. So I don't know what point you think those clips make, but it's not that Conor would beat Bjornsson in a fight.

I feel very very sad for people like you, who think cause that guy is so huge, that he would win...what fighting experience does he have? what happens if he managed to get conor down? Then what? Plenty of guys have survived slams in MMA, I think a takedown is more likely than a KO slam.
