Had a waiter confront me outside over a tip

I guess I'm supposed to pay everyone as if I was their employer LOL. Another server here, folks. This is the type of mind that is attracted to this line of "work".

If there was an option where I could pay 3-4x more than menu prices and every server lost their jobs I would gladly take it. We need less tax cheats out there and the service industry is a clear net-negative.
They will be replaced by automated systems soon and the world will be better for it.

The level of delusion and arrogance is some next level shit. Let me guess, you were born with daddy's golden dick in your mouth and you think your above the rest of us working for a living? Is that it? Lmao @ being that sad.

on another note, I used to be a server/bartender in college. Once, this chick and her three kids came in and started ordering. In the middle of the order, the mom whips out a boob to start breastfeeding her youngest, while I'm standing directly above her looking down...she maintained eye contact the whole time, it was odd

like bruhs, what do you do in that situation? look away? meanmug while continuing to take the order like a boob ain't chilling? the world will never know

Translation: "I have no counter argument"

This is what happens when you run out of grubby cards to play. Laughable, fascinating, and gruesome all at once. You truly are a server's server.

Is anyone actually asking

was she hot?

If he shoved you to the ground you should've talked to the manager and got him fired.

Exactly. In a perfect world one would leave $0 on this tab.

Lol'ing hard @ subsidizing some grubby server's income. Maybe they should pan handle and beg on the street during the break times since they seem to be so good at it.
Most of those guys don't even get min wage. So if you don't want people tipping them, how will they earn money?

Sorry, but I don't spend my days wondering how other people earn their money. They can do that themselves.

The abdication of responsibility among the server-class is shocking. "Give us your money for doing a job someone else is also paying us for, how else will we earn the amount of money we want to?". Gruesome.

Since he's a waiter, he should accept that some people tip more than others. He should have just let it go, instead of making a big deal out of it.

Surprised you didn't go inside and talk to a manager about him shoving you. He should have been fired. And you had witnesses.

It sounds like an honest mistake on your part by forgetting to carry a few extra bucks to tip this asshole.

Tipping is bullshit anyway, i hate doing that. Of course i do it, but restaurants should just pay these people more money an hour. I'll pay more for the food if that's the case, i just hate tipping.

was she hot?
Decently, yes
I worked in a country club too, not like a Denny's. Not the right ambience at all for that.

I felt like she was testing me, like 'are you gonna look?' hahaha

I failed

Why even tip that fucking fass? He gets paid a salary.

$5 too much IMO

Tipping isn't a done thing over in England. Learn from us.

Brexit means Brexit.
They don't get a salary here.

Waiters aren't entitled to a tip. Unless I'm getting above-average service, they get nothing and have to like it.

Who chose the job?
If it is a young dude, probably just trying to work his way through college. Some times the only real job you can get is the shittiest.

Good to hear. TBH a couple of square meals per 12-hour shift (1 per 8 hour) should be more than enough pay for this type of "work".

Lol'ing hard @ writing down basic orders and pouring drinks being worthy of any less than the absolute minimum. If people in the 3rd world could only be so lucky.

that pizookie at BJ's does go hard.

shoulda got one of those too w/ that extra 5, left no tip IMO

In what world am I supposed to give a shit about this?
So maybe you think we should just get rid of all servers at restaurants then. Fuck just get rid of all bars and restaurants while we are at it, then assholes like you wont have to worry about actually tipping a proper tip.
