Guy pretends to be a Target employee to steal Xboxes and PlayStations

I will sadly admit I stole so much stuff when I worked at office depot. I literally assembled a chair in the back for 30 minutes and wheeled it right out the door and put it in my car. The funniest part is I worked in tech so I had no business even dealing with furniture. I didnt get a raise or promotion or something so this was my justification to steal. Looking back it probably wasnt worth it.
Sometimes doin shit in plain sight is the best way to do it. People just assume nothing is out of the ordinary.

I remember watching this prank video where these two guys would just fake being employees at various stores and give comically bad customer service until they had been kicked out of every store lol

One of my former friends worked in loss prevention at Frys Electronics. This dumbass stole candy, soda and beef jerky every morning during the morning walk through and the LPO's watched him and tracked everything until it amounted to felony theft ($1000), then he was fired and arrested.

When you start working there you literally get shown that the cameras can zoom in on serial numbers of currency, absolute brain dead move to steal from some places.
Target likes to get down like that too. When I was working there ages agona few people set up a scam where they would ring people up in the little eatery area. And they would use bogus skus for low end stuff instead of what the people actually bought. All employees.

Management figured it out right away and let all of them rack up charges until it was serious enough, then pulled them all into the office with loss prevention and the cops.

They had to promise to repay all the money to avoid being arrested.

Yea we had a cop come back and talk to us about crime and how to avoid getting robbed etc during holiday season. He told us if at all possible avoid going to Walmart because they are known for having shit cameras that can't see shit but Target has amazing cameras that can capture everything clear as day. He said criminal know this and that's why the go after people in the walmart parking lots more often than any other store during holiday season.

Yeah I was friendly with the LP guy which is part of why I knew about it. I'm not a thief in general but I definitely wasn't fucking around there. They have cameras everywhere and are often chummy with the local cops. Not a place you want to get caught stealing they don't fuck around like walmart does.

This is the most badass guy ever.
Actually he's a turd.
Took .......to take him down.
Every one of those cops have the ability to subdue that guy solo. But they'd have to use techniques that would make liberals squeal. That's why in situations like this the criminals always have the advantage. They have NOTHING to lose.
like 90 cops
Strange.... I counted much less.
edit: some dude that looks very similar to this guy did the same thing a couple years ago. Except it was at a department store.

That guy is going to be a felon for the rest of his life over some game consoles. To be fair he probably already is a felon.

I figured as woke as target is they’d just give him all of it as reparations.

Whatever their PR facing might be, in my experience they don't fuck around with theft. Only retailer I ever worked for that actually took it seriously.

They've invested a lot of money into that, so they're going to make use of their equipment/services. There have been countless articles on the internet about Target's forensics(video) lab helping law enforcement.

You misspelled 'dumbass.'

There's nothing commendable about the subject of that video, in any way.

Even the tactic of using a Target T-shirt to pose as an employee to steal consoles, could be considered clever at first.
His problem is he didn't realize he'd eventually get caught.

As for how many cops it took to eventually take him down ... Congratulations... He did have a 6 month jail sentence, and now it's a multiple-year long prison sentence. Nice going retard-strength.

At least someone on the internet called him 'the most badass guy ever.'

Oh sure if anything I'm surprised more retailers don't crack down, they lose tons of money in shrink every year.

Thata something you can pull off once not twice
