Have a friend who really likes to collect anime, he loved the OVA but wasn't sure about buying the older version (since it's really expensive). I'll show him this, watching the first episode though is making me want to rewatch the whole thing again!

The OVA was good, but man it just didn't have that special something that the series has. The music, old school animation, violence, lack of CG. Love it!

I was gonna bring up Wyald. If there was an American show with him people would probably love the character.

Too many memorable characters in Berserk,Wyald was one of the most twisted,depraved fucks in Berserk.
