Yea we can say he had poor fight IQ in that fight (big part due to gassing imo) but imagine if he fought smarter? We'd have a new champ imo.

In the end he has only lost to the top 3 and a very solid guy in Phil Davis early on.

I agree but some people make him out to be far better than he is. Maybe I am wrong but I don't see Gus being champ.

I see where you coming from, he deff has some very good attributes, rangey and good chin, solid power and fast, as far as skills he has good boxing, moves very well, good TDs and TDF, but lacks a more cardio and fight IQ, he needs to quit with the running, looks bad in the judges eyes, he also allows himself to get hit a lot and looks like hes getting beat up.

He has the skills and attributes to be champ, he is RIGHT there but something is missing, I do think he is more skilled than bisping though so if he can be champ so can Gus.
