Gus, Mareta and now Reyes

Hopefully he will. That would be a damn shame. The fact that the guy arguably beat jones in that condition speaks volumes.
He knew it was his night to shine, to give it all and live nothing in reserve, so that after the fight is done his conscious is clear, he had nothing more to give in that fight, he fought with 100% of his resources. He knew his knees were shot in the 2nd and continued to deliver those nasty leg kicks with full force till the end of the 5th, he threw everything he got in those kicks, like there was no tomorrow.
IPT nobody has had successful knee surgeries and came back 100% after.

Liked, but took it back because of this: "He is now on the same level of the average journeyman."
Agreed with everything else but...c'mon!
Sadly, LHW has been a division of journeymen for some time now. Smiths, Reyes, Santos, OSPs, Coreys, Ians.....Reyes is not even a full time MMA fighter and he doesn't even have a training camp, this is hobby for him, he trains in a garage and has been doing for only 5 years and he beat the best MMA fighter we'v got in Jones. Jones is now on a level of Mareta and Reyes, who arguably beat him and they are considered journeymen and Mareta is MW too. So this is the level Jones is at right now. Jones has declined a lot, this is a fact.

Jones - Gus 48-47
Jones - Santos - 48-47
Jones - Reyes - 48-47 or draw.
