I agree those fights vs Gus were maybe the hardest of there career's so far. But that's my opinion and I feel both guys have what it takes to win more times then not. I like Gus and I was there in Houston when DC and Gus took place I gave it to DC, went home and watched it, it was close but still gave it to DC.

I agree that the DC fight went to DC but if you could give Jones the fight cause of the elbow, then i find it fair that GUS could get the third round against DC with the knee, giving him 3 rounds, making him the winner of that fight. Either way , i feel gus has what it takes to beat them both, with some minor adjustments.

Yea , those uppercuts cost him the DC fight, which i thought he would have won, had he just evaded those uppercuts. DC scored HUUUGELY on those..

Let's have Gus fight OSP first, rebuilding either of those guys as a viable contender. In my opinion Gus needs at least 2 or 3 more wins to be getting another title shot.
