"I think there were some technical mistakes in that fight that cost him the fight basically. I mean if you watch the first round and the beginning of the second, he was winning the fight, obviously, he was picking Diaz apart really.

"But there were a lot of shots that were kind of missing. He threw a lot more shots than he had to and I think maybe he rushed it a bit."

"I think if Conor takes his time and breaks him down, does what he does best, uses his speed a little bit better and maybe not concentrate on power as much, I think he will walk through Diaz."

He's not wrong.

Diaz is a talented fighter but he's not the second coming of christ as he's being hailed on here by know-nothing tards.

"obviously, he was picking Diaz apart really." - so Gunni is a fanboi.

Does Gunnar not realize that Diaz landed alot of shots the first round too? I don't think anyone was getting picked apart until after Conor got rocked really

What else is 1 of his teammates going to say? "Yeah he sucks, he's going to get beat up again".

I agree with this. People forget how badly McGregor was busting Diaz up. Right before he got caught, Rogan even said he didn't think Diaz could take much more.

I'm not sure McGregor has the fitness at 170 to do it though.

Imagine the rage on here if Conor pulled a Condit on Nate.

The only way he can keep Diaz from throwing punches at him, is to constantly be throwing himself.

Contrary to popular fanboy belief, and even after hours of touch butt, Conor does not have great lateral movement and footwork.

And the "beating" he was giving Nate is overrated by many. He was winning slightly, but it was a close fight. Nate was rolling and blocking alot of his shots.

His footwork was fantastic against Holloway and Dustin.

McGregor can win if he doesn't try to dirty box and keeps his back off the cage. Diaz is way too big to try to work in the clinch.

As if Rogan is a good argument lol. I can't even count the times he enthousiastically screams that a submission is 'locked in' followed by 'and he's out..' 3 seconds later.

I mean, he doesn't have elite level footwork, like you see from top boxers. Where he will be able to constantly keep himself out of position from Nate hitting him. For him to stifle Nate's offense, he needs to be offensive.

And it seems like you think Conor is able to control the pace of the fight with Nate. Didn't we all see that, that wasn't the case? Don't you think he will be even more at the mercy of Diaz, if Nate has a full camp?

Wow, Rogan said it? I must have missed that. It must be true then.

See, I thought Conor won a basic 10-9 round where he threw 5 more strikes and only landed 5 more strikes against a notorious slow starter, whos slow start was significantly accentuated by the fact that he wasn't in prime fighting shape because he took the fight on 11 days notice. I also could've sworn I observed Diaz never getting hurt despite taking some big counter punches, even though Conor still missed 63% of his strikes.

But I must be mistaken. Diaz was probably on the way out because Joe Rogan said so. Thanks mate.

Conor also probably only lost on the ground because he was

Teammate likes teammate's chances in a rematch.

"Rogan even said" is indicative of Rogan being an idiot.

I still think McGregor has heavy enough hands to eventually bust Diaz up enough to win without loading up. McGregor had an awful gameplan in that fight.
