Fair enough but I was a big fan of Maia and it reminded me of Maia having Matt Brown's back for 3 rounds and then getting the eventual RNC and it was great to see.

I enjoy grappling, just not when he's so stagnant. Guys like Khabib, Maia, GSP, Charles are all super exciting in the wrestling and on the ground.
Gunnar not so much.

For me anyways.

Did you watch some of Maia's fights? Particularly LaFlare and Brown, he was more than capable of putting on stinkers.

Maia does have some bad ones, that's fair, but he's also got a lot where he just slices through people's guards like a hot knife thru butter, takes the back, and submits them instantly.

I feel like Gunnar has no fights that are just beautiful like that on the ground.
