Get someone else that's competent at using a tape measure to measure your height. Having something like a ruler to place on your head and level out from the highest spot would be helpful. You can get in the ballpark measuring yourself w/ a tape measure.

Alternatively, try using your phone's measuring app and see what it says if you have an apple product(thought I'm sure android's have an app or a version of this built in by now as well).

Next time you go to the doctor ask them to measure your height. They have a special tool for that. It's very hard to measure by yourself.
