Gsp's tune up fight for his comeback

If Gsp ever comes back into MMA World,who do you think is the perfect opponent for his tune up fight leading into title fight?

Mine is Johnny Hendricks, his lost to Gsp leaves a controversial sour taste in Dana White's mouth and turned Joe Rogan into a homicidal commentator.

A grudge rubber match with a controversial history will be perfect match for Gsp's comeback fight, history and controversy with Gsp fighting in Canada will reignite Mma and sell like pancakes again.

Look man, if he was coming back at all, and you already have Conor Mcgregor down to fight at ufc 200 at 170 lbs, then who do you think Dana would ever approve of to extinguish the Hype train other than the other biggest draw..?? Not sayin that as a conor nuthugger (which I am, but not in this case) But Dana white wont give him a tune up fight, because he'll probably fight once more and then formally retire for good. If he fights, it would have been against a huge name at ufc 200 to make one last giant payday off the golden boy of Montreal

I wouldn't recommend the Hendricks fight for GSP. He should stick with smashing midgets like Conor/Nate.

If he is thinking of fighting the winner of Conor/Nate 2 then that IS the tune-up. Such an easy win for GSP and frankly I wouldn't pay to watch it. I'm hoping that if he does come out of retirement it is for a real fight. Sure give him a tune-up but don't try and sell the tune-up as something it's not. He can warm up by working over Nate or Conor but then for a real fight let's see him against Lawler or maybe at MW for the title. Just my opinion of course.

I think an Anderson match would be great for GSP's tune-up. The Spider isn't the fighter he was when the dream match was spoken of. I just think it'll take too much of a chunk out of Anderson's legacy. I also think GSP/Hendricks would be good. I don't think the same Hendricks shows up for the rematch today.

Actually not having a tune-up fight is stupid. Its why Muhammed Ali, after a three year suspension, fought first Jerry Quarry and then Oscar Bonevanu before having the title fight with Frazier. Going straight from lay-off to fighting for the title would have been a disaster for Ali (and would have made the fight much less than the classic it was).

Tune-up fights are the norm in boxing, and should be in MMA as well.

id like to see Hendricks as well but I have no problem with GSP taking on a smaller fighter either.. unlike the Anderson fans who didn't seem to upset when he came back from a layoff to fight WW Diaz
