GSP will finish Hendricks, MARK MY WORDS !!!

GSP is not a finisher! 7 out of his last 8 fights have gone the distance, and as such, the probability of him finishing Hendricks, a robust fighter who has never previously been finished, is slim to none. Two possibilities here, GSP by ANOTHER decision win, or Hendricks by convincing finish.

UFC's 20th anniversary's main event was chose none other than the goat himself, Georges St Pierre, i can tell you that on this anniversary, Georges is looking back in history when he first entered the UFC as a dynamic young stud, who finished guys left & right, he's gonna bring that old GSP spirit back !
And ofcourse he understands that he's been criticized as of late for not finishing, but i feel that he's motivated to "fight" again.

I think he might gas too. Not because he has bad conditioning, just because he puts everything behind every punch. I can't really talk cause I'm gasping, ready to puke after 1-5 minute round of sparring. Haha.

Hey man, I'm from Canada and I can't really stand GSP. He plays it way too safe and worse than that.....he's French! yuck!!! I usually root against him because I like his opponents much more than I like him (Condit, Alves etc.) that being said I think Johny Hendricks is a creepy, disgusting, hairy little critter and I hope George's puts a serious old fashioned Canadian ass-whooping on him!!!

Dude, I love me some GSP. I'm just fucking with TS because he is Canadian so most Candians often go with GSP. Seriously though, my grandparents are full on Canadian so I've been over the border so many times.

I root for Condit too against GSP, outside of Condit though I am all GSP.

If it goes past the 2nd round then I'm gonna agree. Johny is front runner, with suspect cardio and suspect heart (check the condit fight when he wanted to touch gloves while condit was pacing around like a fucking pissed off caged lion just before the last round).

I really don't see him finishing a fight ever. He's just way too timid and a lot of the fighters he's decision have been finished later by lower level fighters then himself.

There's just so many ways that GSP can beat Hendricks, all he has to do is avoid that left hand. It's hard to pick how GSP will finish this redneck, but I predict it will be by TKO cuts after the 3 rounds of utter domination and GnP on the mat.

I do not agree. I'm picking Hendricks.

In the past, it was obvious for me to choose GSP over his challengers, including his first fight against Serra. I knew St-Pierre would tool Diaz on the ground. Condit is one of my favorite fighters, but I picked Georges because I knew his take down was going to be too much for Condit, whose weakness is wrestling. I picked St-Pierre over Koscheck and Fitch because of the champ's speed, agility, and better game plan. Kos and Fitch have good wrestling, but they're too predictable.

The one fight I was 50/50 on - GSP vs Shields. But I don't know what the hell Shields was doing, and I still don't know what the hell his game plans are.

I'm picking Hendricks because he's the first guy to knock out Fitch, and easily knocked out a Dutch kickboxing champion Martin Kampmann. And the Big Rig's wrestling is on par with Koscheck's, if not better. Also, he probably has learned from St-Pierre's past wrestler opponents and was able to study the fights. The only thing I suspect is Hendrick's endurance.

I wouldn't be surprised if GSP dominates again. But Hendricks is aware that the champion knows of his punching power, and he could use that to turn into a grappling war, or come up with a submission plan.

I can't wait.
