I think guys like Shields are absolutely better wins than Burns, as well as Fitch was when he beat him.

It's definitely no big deal to me at all sweetcheeks. If anyone tries to argue Usman is better or greater than GSP, I don't really take them seriously.

I don't think being more "well-rounded" automatically means you're a better fighter. I don't think i've ever thought this way in regards to MMA. I can give countless examples of less "well-rounded" guys that are better wins and had better careers than Gilbert Burns...

Burns is at the same level or even better in terms of grappling than Shields or Fitch and he’s a much better striker. How exactly Shields or Fitch are better than him? Also if you look at their careers, they are pretty much the same level. I mean Burns has a hell of a resume:

People love to downplay how good Shields is but this was his winstreak before Georges beat him. Shields also beat a Maia that was much closer to his prime than the one Gilbert beat.

Gilbert finished Maia in the first round, while Shields only squeezed out a split decision. Fitch lost to Maia. And Maia was always basically the same fighter- great BJJ, mediocre striking and a lazy single leg TD.

Lol. Shields got finished by Ellenberger in 53 seconds. And Hooker is a better fighter than Ellenberger.

Also Maia was on a 3 fight win streak and a couple of years removed from fighting for the title. He was still the same guy.
