That's what bugs me, GSP left and I mean LEFT on top with that split decision win and everyone praises his legacy, which they should cause it was good.

But Fedor, unlike GSP, decided to continue fighting. They both still have a desire to fight but GSP didn't want to tarnish his legacy while Fedor really wanted to continue to compete

Yet everyone shits on Fedor for still trying and even goes as far as to erase his impressive 10 year streak which includes Pride

Eh Fedor didn't want to tarnish his legacy either. Have you seen who he has fought since losing to Werdum? He fought a winnable opponent in Bigfoot and got bludgeoned. He then fought a MW in another fight he should have won and got KTFO.

Since then he has fought Bob the Builder, Bill and Ben the flowerpot men and Maldonado who again nearly killed him. He has done more to try and protect his legacy than any GOAT candidate ever.

Your point is that he isn't coming back because of negative fans, but why not just take GSPs word and accept that he wanted some time off? It's a hell of a job to work your body day and night to get ready for the always biggest fight of your life.

Even Fedor does that, but I don't think Fedor is working out as hard as he used to. If I remember correctly, Fedor used to run like nine miles a day, and I just don't believe he's doing that right now, but I do believe he can if he tried.

GSP is a lot younger than Fedor, he didn't seem to be past his prime and hadn't taken bad losses, I think he can make a successful run at the title again.

Fedor has nothing to prove at this stage of his career, he knows he can't hang with top guys at this stage, he is top 30/40 ranked so I've no issue with him fighting similarly ranked guys

nvm he beat ufc champs, sylvia,arlovski,coleman(twice),Randelman,Big nog(wont interm ufc gold).
