Most of these were title fights with the last one being a title win. All in the UFC. This is a true GOAT-level achievement that will remain unbroken.*

Think about it. Most legends trade wins and losses toward the end of their careers. Many have struggled (and failed) to go out on a single win. A 13 fight win streak to end a career is outer-worldly.

* I realize Khabib can retire on a 27 fight win streak. However, only the last 11 were in the UFC and the only the last two were title fights. It's not the same.

If you look at his record... Over half of GSP's resume is title fights.

He has the most title fight wins in the UFC.

I just disputed his GOAT claim, he isnt.

So your title is misleading.

15 / 22 fight in the UFC were title fight.

more telling than that - avenged both losses.

and, won his last fight taking the belt a weight class up.

it's pretty hard for people to try to say he isn't GOAT at this point.

He’s great but not goat
GOAT is subjective anyway so isn’t really worth talking about

True but even his haters know these things. But who retires off a title win? On a 13 fight win streak? Not Fedor. Not Anderson. It's a crazy stat.

Why do you people care so much about who others consider to be the goat?

That’s a lot of decisions in a row...

GSP retired today. We are celebrating the man. It would be odd if we did not mention his GOAT status.

I will take a 50-43 over a 13 secondes KO any day of the week.

True showing of pure dominance.

Yeah he says "that's a lot of decisions" but that resume is so much better than some others.

Jones has a great one but he's Asterisk GOAT

Sadly, GSP cant be GOAT, Because Jones, Fedor, Silva and DC exist.
