This childlike reasoning that GSP beat a blind Bisiping is just dumb and just sad.

Blind Bisping destroyed Rockhold, beat Anderson Silva, and Hendo. Legit Middleweights, beat them all with one eye. Was the active fighter for years, and was on a 5 fight win streak.

GSP has 2 surgically repaired knees, blown out ACLs, was out for the game for 4 years, courageously moving up in Middleweight for the 1st time in his life, and on his way to having colitis disease. And oh people forget GSP had an eye surgery before the Bisping fight too! (Check his fight wiki timeline)

If there's a guy who's against the odds on this one, it's GSP!

So this narrative that GSP beats a blind guy is just dumb, childlike, and really just desperate. GSP took his balls to fight at a higher weight class and was successful in his goal. He retired on top of his game. The MW gold is the cherry on top of his great illustrious career.

What does a win over Usman do for GSP? He beats the next big thing at WW until someone else comes along and call's him out when he's 45. What does losing do? "Oh he was never that good, and now Usman is the goat". Casual fans will ignore the fact that's he's damn near 40 with tons of mileage and out of his prime.

And it was in the 1st or 2nd round that Mike already had taken huge punch and busted his functioning eye (as they say he was already fighting with one eye). But Mike fought through it and go until the distance. That's some grit and toughness that GSP haters are discrediting when GSP fought him, and the fact that GSP actually finished Mike. Lol

And that statement was way overdue. It was 3 years already when he said that and he has moved on from fighting. He's had more focus on fashion, hair styling, and collecting dinosaur and shark bones than the thought of returning to fight.
