My wife is psychologist and she says that GSP is a classic case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

OCD might seem like something simple, a lot of people go around saying they have it because they have to turn the lights off twice an so on. But actually, it can be pretty serious.

In the worst cases people get really obsessed, they get paranoid, get a lot of insomnia and end up isolating themselves. It can be something so serious that the person has to take psychiatric drugs just to get by the everyday life. Of course, stress is a big trigger.

Probably something happened in his personal life that together with the stress of the fight triggered a major crisis.

I would hate to be married to a psychologist, but besides that, I'm very curious as to what his real issues are.

What reasons does she give for her diagnosis?

GSP has OCD so bad that he insists on calling it CDO so that the letters appear in alphabetical order.

I'd agree, it's something I've thought before and it's part of the reason that's made him so successful because he obsesseses over everything.

However, I'd also argue that he's mentally weak which contributes to his OCD and I'll probably get a lot of hate for this but imo it's something that's held him back from being potentially the greatest ever.

Either way his mind does seem quite unique and you'd have to wonder that if his mind didn't work so strangely would he be a better or worse fighter?

Yeah the way he said its like he has some interpersonal problems legal issues? wife thing?

Its not like its just fighter burn out or maybe both.

Training hard for many years like what this fighters do can drain them mentally.

The mind can only take so much.

Only thing that makes sense to me is that he knocked up someone's wife, or a gf of a good friend.

Does your wife start throwing around the diagnoses around so freely when you guys get into a beef over something? I could get tired of that real quick

Yeah, Or just knocked someone up full stop. Still a big deal to most people.

He does not have OCD.
Being "obsessed" with career goals and constantly overworking oneself to obtain them cannot be defined as OCD.

Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder is characterized by an “obsession” with detail and a “compulsion” to do things perfectly; these drives, however, are not “true” obsessions and compulsions: unlike “true” obsessions and compulsions, which patients view as senseless and try and resist, the drives for order and perfection seen in the personality disorder are experienced as quite purposeful, and, rather than being resisted, are often pursued with righteous vigor.

I like how the OP has no explanation for a third party diagnosis. Dude, at least back it up with something..... Then we can all flame you for talking shit.

TV diagnostics. GSP seems to be a classical case, I agree, but we don't really have any conclusive evidence.

Do you think GSP's girlfriend(s) get bored with being wrestlefucked for 25 minutes every time too? I know I do and I'm a 'fan' although it is wearing thinner than my hairline and THAT is thin.
