That's true. 170 was full of wrestlers when GSP competed and he beat them all. Hughes, Fitch, Koscheck, Shields, Hendricks. 155 now doesn't have a lot of great wrestlers and the best ones like Lee and Gillespie can't put together a championship run. I would have loved to see how Khabib would fight someone who'll intentionally engage with him grappling like Gillespie.

He had one bad weight cut. He isn't bigger than his opponents, and he certainly isn't the same size as GSP.

You might as well say GSP avoided MW until it had a favorable (weak) champ.

Khabib looking at all of those strikers he faced at light weight. I understand why? They couldn’t really test his skill set. Virtually no elite grappling whatsoever. I mean zero. Even Justin has lousy TDD..

BTW he is absolutely 100% the same size as GSP. If he’s having a hard time cutting the weight at 155. What’s the walking around weight exactly? It’s not 170 brother..

Saku's skills, innovation, and perseverance are off the charts. He will die in the ring just to find an opportunity to attack. Very few fighters have this gift. You should actually watch the Rampage fight to better understand. You have a very limited knowledge of MMA and it shows.

Instead of calling people "scum" and blindly defending your favorite fighters you should spend time learning.

I watched that fight and Rampage had such a low fight IQ. He blew his wad trying to get slams and throw saku out of the cage.

Saku was ahead of his time in the grappling department and that why he was succesful. He would struggle much more in today's mma.
