What an animal! People can say what they want about his style, GSP is the moeffing man!

sick thread thanks for the stats

dude is a monster no matter what flack he gets around here.

Hope he gets it. He deserves it.

PS: Why's my avatar so tiny? Does it get bigger if I get a higher belt (no penis jokes plz)

A bit ironic for the trailer to open up with Roach talking about killer instinct and going in for the kill. Awesome stuff nonetheless.

"As fighters we have to have killer instinct." - George disagrees.

"A guy like George who wears a suit and then knocks you out with his elbows." - George hasnt knocked anyone out in over 5 years, the guy must have him confused with Weedman.

All in all pretty weak promotional video due to total lack of credibility.

My thoughts as well. Was he actually talking about GSP in that clip? Or was he talking about GSP but talking in a critical way of what he needs to improve? Not trying to be a dick but I'm actually asking since it is very weird placement to bring up the one crystal clear criticism (and as a coach of the guy at that) at the very start of something that is supposed to be a complimentary video towards someone.

Also, when is this video coming out?

He was talking about fighter. He said "we, fighters" numerous times.

He's the second greatest of all time just barely behind Anderson imo

GSP is awesome

Just wonder why he is called Rush ? More like no rush at all fighting style

A bit strange to talk about killer instinct like that in a GSP documentary, makes me want to watch it even more. Solid marketing :icon_chee

also "George is willing to take you to hell" - more like "George is willing to take you to a decision." Hell would be facing someone like Jones, whose goal it is to hurt and hestroy the enemy within the time limit.

'Rush' his goal is to score as many points as possible within 25 minutes of competition, hard to consider that hell when every one of his opponents survive the trip to 'hell'.

Yeah just didn't know the context of the interview. If he was being interviewed about philosophy in general, boxing, MMA in general, an upcoming GSP fight, etc. I figure with a little context the clip should make more sense. If it was TOTALLY unrelated to GSP then it was just very awkward editing/placement by the guy that made the video I suppose. Like if the beginning of a Fedor video that was supposed to be complimentary to him opened with someone saying "being able to see the 6-pack of a fighter is key to being a real fighter, anyone who takes athletics seriously should have this rather than being a bar bum" and they were dead serious while showing a non-6-pack Fedor fighting as the guy is talking. They are literally showing guys he all decisioned (some very methodically/clinically without any attempts to finish) while talking about killer instinct so it is weird...

I believe 125 X 125 (pixels) is the max, there's also a Kb limit as well. Just go to edit avatar in your user CP to get the exact specifications.

Edit: GSP is absolutely incredible, however TS strikes me as a potential stalker.

Anxious for the full thing to be released. Anyone have a timeline for when it'll be out?

Great thread Tony and thanks for the video, will watch full documentary as soon as possible.

Awesome thanks Tony. Amazing accomplishments for GSP no doubt. I hope to see him in many more MMA fights to come, but I have this feeling his days in UFC are numbered and he will soon opt for bigger and better things.

For all those saying GSP has no killer instinct, I ask you to really think about what you're saying. If that was truly the case, then you would not showing GSP so much respect inside the cage. He backs everyone up and puts them into total defensive mode. Even Diaz (who normally walks his opponents down, slaps them and keeps his hands down showing no regard for his opponent's boxing) was the most guarded, hesitant and reluctant to engage than he has ever been in a fight before that. Killer instinct is not just getting a finish, it is imposing fear in the minds of his opponents to make them conform to your regulation. This is what George does better than all but Anderson.
