Who can be a fan of this shit? I dont wanna hear this shit. How can canadians get behind this?

Alot of whining about "legacy", "elevate me", and "risk".

Yep TS you are a...

GSP has already weathered that storm fighting killers, he's earnt his.

Why doesn’t GSP wanna fight Woodley or Whittaker?

When you the A side you get more power. He is not some Dana slave.

During his reign he never picked fights.. now hes at the end of career fighting for legacy and money.. if he chooses his next fights wisely even more ppl will call him goat ans he will be set financially for life... and perhaps that title of goat will be much harder to take away in the future

I got no problem with what he stated. But he isn't going to find someone remotely on his level of achievements unless he plans on fighting Jon Jones in 2-4 years. But in my opinion what he is really saying is that he's not interested in Woodley ie... waiting for another fighter to beat him and he would take the Conor Mcgregor fight for money reasons .

TS, GSP is not an up and coming contender. He does not need to fight (financially), he's got maybe a couple of fights left. Nothing wrong with letting him pick his fights as long as they can be sold and marketed.

How can you be the GOAT when you run from the real challenges and pick the winnable fights? This GSP farse is getting worse every day...

They all do it he’s just more honest about it.

apparently TS can't appreciate that someone in GSP's position has different priorities than catering to the selfish desire of fickle fans to see him take unnecessary risks with his health, legacy, and earning potential.

Blows me away how GSP wants to fight to make the most money at this point in his career and many new fans say he's picking, choosing and ducking . After he never sucked a fight and took all commers whine he reigned the WW divison for years . Yet at the same time these same people say Conor can do what he wants picking and choosing fights , not EVER defending a belt and only picking big Money fights and that's totally ok!!

Fucking hypocritical!!

GSP has earned the right to pick his final fights to make cash. Not like Askren is an easy fight by any means and the last few years has been much more exciting than Woodley. Face it Woodley screwed himself in the Mia fight. Was the most boring title fight in history and wouldn't be a huge draw. Askren would bring a lot of fans from One FC as well as all really mma fans .

Conor would be the biggest fight in MMA history but no way Mac would take that fight.

Most wins in UFC history
2 division champ
Won Vs every opponent he faced
Most top 10 wins ever.
At one point went 4 yrs without losing a round on judges scorecard

How can you argue that guy isn't GOAT ?

He has every right to make the best choices for himself. And I have every right to call it pussyities.

WW<MW<LHW<HW.
LNPrayer without finishing a fight in ages.
Oportunistic cherrypicker.
Tapped to strikes.
Lost to Pig Rigg and ran away.
Vaseline.
Shitty Unified Rules.

Easy game.

eh, he's past his best. 35 years old, been fighting for like 15 years.

He should definitely be taking the fights that make the most sense for this stage of his career.
