When I see this, I have a hard time picturing Islam going to decisions against Trujillo, Healy, La Quinta.... Barboza. I think Islam puts those guys away and without much fuss. Late in his career, and while rarely fighting ~1 fight per year, Khabib finally put together some stoppages.

They both stopped Dustin in the 3rd round. IDK what we're really talking about here.

Stopping all time greats in Volk and Do Bronx is materially better wins than anyone Khabib fought, let alone beat.

I don't completely disagree but I think Khabib was a 'stuck in the middle guy.' His ideal weight class would probably be a 165lbs division and he would be undersized at welterweight.

Khabib's best wins are former FWs though..... and Gaethje.

I don't see any legit argument Khabib is still ahead of Islam, if you actually care about quantity of quality. Islam has clearly surpassed Khabib. 1 little hiccup isn't changing that.

Caveat:

AI is nothing more than incredibly good at searching an absurd amount of info and resuming it very quickly.
