He's 31. So he doesn't excactly have all the time in the world though. I'd hate to see him declining by the time he starts facing the elite.

He'd outgrapple Khabib tomorrow. He's a top 15 fighter already but I don't mind them taking it slow with him. A win tomorrow makes 5 in a row though and no way he doesn't get a ranked fighter next.

I think with a bit more polish, he is champion material. His grappling chops are beyond elite, and his hands are getting better and better.

I will say, he is 31. I think after this fight (if he wins), he should start working up the ladder quickly.

His pure wrestling is maybe the best in the UFC. His striking has a long way to go but he's shown some ability there, if he continues to improve and they don't rush him along he certainly could develop into a future champ. He's not exactly young though, as far as prospects go.

I saw his last fight and I remember being impressed by him, and I'm not that easily impressed by fighters. I thought he was a striker, and didn't really think much about him after the fight. Soon after I saw him being listed as one of the top prospects I actually learned he's a wrestler, which is when I became really impressed, because it was not even his wrestling that I noticed, it was his striking, which means he's going to be really hard for people to deal with if he's that well rounded.

Same here!...this guy is already a top notch fighter,outstanding striking/wrestling...and a classy professional fighter to boot!

I think the age would concern me more if he had more cage mileage on him, but he barely gets hit in there. He takes his opponent down early and then it's pretty much over. He definitely needs a ranked fighter next.
