Greg Hardy makes MMA look really bad

There's no one in the world that would be competitive with the top bantamweights after 2 years of training.

Unfortunately HW is terrible and full of D-level athletes, so any half decent NFL linebacker with a few years of training should be able to smack them around.
Out of likes or you'd get one. 100% this. And even then, he'll never be at the elite level there.

Your premise is stupid because all humans have an instinct for violence/combat in one way or another and to varying degrees which is engrained in our DNA as a survival mechanism unlike ballsports. this can be described in mma as "raw talent" or a "Penchant for violence" which shouldn't be compared to you ability to dribble or kick or throw a rubber ball

Hardy has lost to the 2 decent fighters he has been matched up with. He kinda proves you can't just come in and do well. Plus maybe get some cardio

Out of all the people to make MMA i dont think hes the one. There are far worse. Seems like the guys is trying to make a new life amd hooefully learns from his mistakes

MMA is the only sport you can walk into with big athletic ability and reach the top within 2-3 years

Look at Greg Hardy, athletic as hell and a former NFL Pro Bowler, MMA debut in 2018 and by 2020 he is on UFC's main card

Greg Hardy could never make it that high in that short amount of time in any other major sport, no way he makes the NBA or MLB within 5 years if ever

No way he moves up that fast in boxing either, it takes years to reach top level status

So what does Greg Hardy say about MMA being a legit top tier sport?
He's on the main card but he's terrible. The best HWs would embarrass him more than people already are

It has a lot to do with the weight class he competes in.

You really think he'd be main eventing if he fought at 155 or 170 or even 185? Hell the 145 or 135 guys too.

He's in the least talented division.

Just because they play ball sports doesn't mean there isn't athletes in football and basketball that have that in their DNA. Their athletic ability will help with their "ability for violence". Greg Hardy is a perfect example because he's trying to put you out violently with a KO. He came over from NFL and he's more violent than most of the fighters he's fighting. They have to use their experience and grappling to beat him, not their level of violence compared to his.

It definitely is legit, especially because of "risk" . Also it's crazy as a MAJOR Stipe Miocic fan, he is the longest reigning HW champion while also serving as a local fighterfighter. There's definitely local pride, and amazement that he continues to be a "public servant". But at the same time it's amazing that he can continue to defeat those who are paid to solely fight.

It actually makes mma look good considering he was a good nfl player but somewhat mediocre as a fighter.

Well since we're going there . . .

So does promoting the fuck out of a guy who is on film assaulting an elderly man and is under investigation for 2 rapes (I assume there will be some pay off to make it go away) like he is some returning saviour.
