I was wondering which type of tea was better and what are the health benifts
Both have anti-oxidants in them but Green tea surpasses Black tea. It also has other health benefits. Too many to mention.
Green tea is also easier on your teeth, as black tea can stain those pearly whites... if you care about that stuff...
Green Tea also has about 1/2-1/3 the caffeine, I believe.
As a matter of fact...After drinking it for about 2 weeks, I was able to sleep soundly even after drinking it at night.
It has much less caffine. Green tea rocks. Its just a shame that American green tea is so different than Japanese green tea. My girlfriend in Japan is getting tired of mailing me Japanese green tea all the time!
From what I've read Grenn Tea has more antioxidants but Black tea has more caffiene.
