I've only given 20 perfect 10's on IMDB so I guess the strong list would be : The Thing, Seven Samurai, Once Upon a Time in the West, Stalker, Shane, and I suppose some Kubrick flicks like Full Metal Jacket and Dr Strangelove.

I vote for 2001: A Space Odyssey because it's perfect. There Will Be Blood & Stalker are perfect too, but 2001 is even more perfect.

My reactions is usually a lot more violent. Though, honestly, the fact that 3 Idiots (8.2) and Warrior (8.2) are up there probably bother me even more. But yeah, there are plenty of modern movies that have landed on there simply by being modern and having the early-hype voters frantic all about them.

Also, fucking Mohammed: The Messenger has cracked the Top 250!? I like that movie just fine but damn I didn't know that the Saudi Petro-Dollars was funding online Islamic trolls too.
