Greatest movie cameo

Tarantino was in Desperado.

More:

Charlie Sheen in Loaded Weapon
Jason Statham in Collateral
Arnold in The Rundown
Matt Damon in Euro Trip

Fucking nailed it. I was drunk as fuck when I first saw this movie, and laughed my ass off when I saw Matt Damon up there on the state. Good stuff

-Cameron Diaz in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
-Vanilla Ice in The New Kid was pretty funny too

I count Bill Murray as cameo because yeah it was his house, because he wasn't a part of the storyline like Tom Cruise was. Tom Cruise affected the plot of Tropic Thunder. Bill Murray was just hey I'll be a, "Look it's Bill Murray. He's not going to last in this movie." Bill Murray was even billed as a cameo by everyone who worked on the movie.

He plays too big of a part in the movie to be billed a cameo.

5 minutes is too big? He didn't affect the storyline at all. You take away his storyline it doesn't even affect the movie. "His house" plays a bigger part of the movie than he did.

Kevin Bacon not showing up in the remake of Footloose was the best cameo ever.

Herb Dean in Monster Brawl

Gary Oldman. You can'y really ever recognize him so I assume he is in every movie.

NPH has made his recent career off of his cameo in Harold and Kumar

This. In some ways Ferrell has overstayed his welcome on the comedy scene, but that cameo was perfect. Totally unexpected and he just nails it.

this is like saying Denzel has overstayed his welcome in dramas/thrillers. thats his niche. pacino- dramas. ferrell does comedy. its what he does. its what he enjoys. like mike meyers or robin williams. will ferrell makes some funny movies. sure hes made some turds but thats the genre he enjoys. i think he did an amazing job in stranger than fiction just like sandler did in punch drunk love. but if those two decided to to just do drama or other stuff the rest of their careers, the vast majority of people would be saying "this is absurd. what a horrible actor."

I agree with that but it's tougher for lead comedic actors to last. We've seen it with just about all of them. They have about a ten year (or in some cases less) window, or prime if you will, before people tend to get tired of them and their brand of humor.

Eddie Murphy
Jim Carey
Chevy Chase
Adam Sandler
Will Ferrell
Mike Myers
Robin Williams

The list goes on. Some mix it up with dramas. Some go into more supporting roles. Some depress their fans by mailing in performances as the lead in awful comedies (cough Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler cough).

yeah i agree as well. i think Denzel has less range than half those guys to be honest and hes still one of the best guys to watch in each of his movies, regardless of knowing EXACTLY what you will see.

Dont know if anybody put this yet but I say Arnold in Terminator Salvation!
