Greatest beat down in pro wrestling

People talk about WCW stars egos damaging the product, but damn if some of Vince's Golden Boys haven't done some damage over the years.

Hogan
HBK
HHH
Stone Cold
Cena

I'm convinced the damaged product we're seeing now is a result of the Super Cena years where we never got any new legit homegrown top heels built up.
Why is stone cold lumped in with those others?

All accounts i read about him suggest he was big on putting others over and trying to help young guys the same way Bret Hart made him go over

Lol hahaha wtf happened here??
The jobber tried to get his shit in at the start of the match and Koko took exception.
it was half shoot. That lariat knocked the guy the fuck out lol. And when he would not get up Koko went bonkers on him and started legit laying the boots to him. that brainbuster dropped him right on his neck. The slap to the face during the pin was hilarious

He wasn't as bad, but he had his "take his ball and go home" moment.

June 17 2002 RAW.

Austin refused to job for Brock and left the morning of the show.
Oh. yeah, that wasn't really anything to do with putting over a new talent. it was more to do with his annoyance with the company. He would be willing to put over Brock if they gave it a storyline and some buildup. but by this point, they were just throwing him in one off matches with no story and no buildup. AND this is when all the wrestlers suddenly had scriptwriters and no longer had control of their promos.

In a nutshell, Stone cold is the biggest draw in history and a properly built match with Lesnar with buildup would have been fine and would have sold big. But just being relegated to no feud or buildup was absurd. Combined with the new scriptwriters now controlling what they say, Stone Cold made the snap decision to quit.

So i get what you are saying, but I still don't think his name belongs on that list with those others, who universally were known for being selfish dozens of times for ego reasons.

Mike Awesome beating the hell outa Spike Dudley putting him threw multiple tables on ECW TV.
Was the very first ECW footage I'd ever seen thought it was the craziest shit ever at the time.
I'll try and find a vid

I can respect that, will remove.

Probably been seen by everyone here, Mike Blackwell no-selling and then taking some hard shots:

Cena hosed The Nexus, The Wyatts, the mere association with him in a Meltzer metaphor soured people on Roman before he even got started.
