Greatest beat down in pro wrestling

Brock telling Heath Slater he doesn't give a shit about his kids was pretty gold.

That's the thing.... Brock was never intended to be a promo guy like Rock, Hogan, HBK or Stone Cold

They knew this from day one....that's why he came in with Heyman.

This fucker's MO was to look like a savage, wreck shit, and do a good job making it look great.

Mission accomplished with bonus points. Dude is underrated on in-ring psychology. Even in his late run he sold right for smaller opponents (Styles, Bryan, Balor) in the correct way that the newer heel and face monsters can only dream of.

Henning trained him and its obvious.

Ts could have just called this The Brock Appreciation thread

In kayfabe?

Austin beating up tajiri before facing angle at a ppv.

Y'all disappoint me.

As a Booker T fan, I never could enjoy this segment, especially because it was coming almost directly off of his run as the good-guy champion in WCW. Broke my heart when they had him tap-out cleanly to Jericho before this, when in WCW they'd put over time and again the fact that Booker T was the iron-willed Rocky underdog of WCW who the bad-guys had to kill if they wanted to stop.

This is segment is better than that Jericho loss though, because at least at this point he had slid into the heel role so it wasn't like you were watching a version of face Booker T cave to a submission. That was like watching Dirty Harry get punked out or Optimus Prime running from Megatron or something.

The greatest beatdown was when Sting took out the entire nWo by himself. It was also the greatest buildup in wrestling. Too bad they shit the bed with the actual match. :(

Steve-O didn't understand at the time what happens if no sell for a monster.

This was the one I was going to post.

That was a straight up legitimate beatdown.
Man, they just got sonned. They were fucking awful, having been shown up already in WCW without Heyman's booking to hide their deficiencies, but that was just savage.

From the Acolytes walking out it just feels.... different then Farooq lays the first one out and you see how stiff Bradshaw is working and my brain did the:
“Oh damn, this looks too real”

Apprently Public Enemy wanted to change the finish, amongst other issues. Bad idea.

2 Man Power Trip >>>>>>>>

People talk about WCW stars egos damaging the product, but damn if some of Vince's Golden Boys haven't done some damage over the years.

Hogan
HBK
HHH
Cena
(Edit: Removed Stone Cold, I erred)
I'm convinced the damaged product we're seeing now is a result of the Super Cena years where we never got any new legit homegrown top heels built up.
