I was thinking about fighters that had all the tools to be phenomenal, but for some reason weren't. Kendall Grove stands out. Why wasn't he better?

One mistake he made throughout his career was being tall but not fighting tall.

Who are some other fighters with the tools, but not the record.

Randleman.

Honestly, given James Thompson's later-career moderate success, I think he could have really been somebody if he'd fought a little smarter from day one.

If Houston Alexander had learned a form of defense other than jogging away from Kimbo, he might have stuck around and done some damage in the UFC.

Brandon Vera had a high ceiling but a short ladder apparently.

Carlos Newton

I kinda though Andrews Nakahara was gonna do better then he is.
