• Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Great fighters who just couldnt get to the top due to injury or something else

Someone already said Belcher, who was one of my favorite fighters. Karo Parisyan seemed like hevwas bound for at least a title shot. Arona dropped out of fighting. I think with the cage and unified rules he would have been a beast. Kharitonov was a force to be reckoned with but never made it to the UFC and he also seemed to stop developing his grappling after a point. I'm holding out hope he'll do well in Bellator and come over to the UFC after. I think he is a tough fight for anyone at heavyweight.
 
the guys I feel bad for are Condit, Grey Maynerd , and ROry. So close to titles. Uriah had so many chances, he's just not quite there and time has passed him by. The Diaz brothers are also on the list for close but no cigar. Nate still has time. I don't see Nick winning at either WW or MW unless he gets Bisping while he's still champ.

All of those got title shots, though, so they're not in the category TS asked about.
 
Karo Parisyan completely fell apart out of nowhere.

The jew soaker also looked like a world beater after what we now know to be 2 consecutive fluke KOs. Still has a ton of power, and we're told he has world-class judo skills, but wound up just being a semi-can.
