Great Deals Thread

Well you've been working on other gun projects and getting some cool stuff out together while I've just been waiting for something cool to pop up. I've actually wanted a legit sporting scope for awhile because mine is just old and heavy and wasn't that great to begin with.

I hear you though, a thousand bucks is a big chunk of change injust figured that since I hadn't gotten anything for a while and with the lifetime warranty and all, I might as well...I mean I could probably sell it if I don't like it and even make a few bucks on top of what I paid.
Oh I totally get you getting it, and when possible a review please.

I'm just SORTA in the market for a spotting scope and have been eyeing a Diamondback but chose to get some Diamondback binos first.

I was interested in spotting scopes from this company called "maven" but then this vortex popped up. Next time im back at my dads house in New Mexico where a bunch of my shit is, I'll dig around a bit I "might" have an old spotting scope around that I'll send to you if we still have it.

Thanks man.

Did you get that tensing pack? If so, how do you like it? Have you thrown some weight in it and hiked around any?
I got it yesterday so I won't be able to try itout until Saturday probably but from how it feels, it feels awesome.

I do have to be honest, the top cover portion of the main compartment almost feels... fluffy/soft it's weird.

Maybe it'sade that way so it won't scratch up optics if you throw them in the top pocket, or it could be softer sonof it runs it dosent make noise?

What do you mean top portion? The top pocket?

The top portion that has the Tenzig logo on it and such. The outside is almost soft. It's probably related to optics and such admittedly but it seems like a great place for blood off your hands to end up on and remain.

Does the top pocket detach and have straps to be used as a fanny pack? I'd guess it's for optics and to keep noise down.

These dudes don't ship to my state so I hate to swing them business, but this is a great deal if you have any interest in a .40sw. $549 + $6 shipping for an HK P30L V3. This is the long slide version with the DA/SA trigger and slide decocker. Might not be exactly how you'd choose it, but to get the frame mounted safety I think you gotta buy the V1 (the model I own) that has the SA LEM trigger. At the time I bought mine HK was doing a $200 rebate, I found a killer deal on GB, and I stilled paid $603 without the transfer. Great feeling and shooting pistol.

Whoa . . . the wholesale price of the 9mm is just under $900.

My general vibe is that .40's are generally good buys right now due to declining popularity. When the product clears out of the market I imagine prices will go back up. I could be wrong on all this though.

Level IV Ceramic plates are $99 a piece fora limited time.
