Agreed. I think this shit below takes the cake:

Baby youre cute and all but they put you as the main event for a reason and everybody was talking about how if she wins the fights she could be the possible title contender

They put her in that spot and she was supposed to call Valentina Shevchenko out and ask gor that title shot. Ask for the title shot baby, they put u in there for a reason.
Tf?

Now if Fiorot gets a W and call out the champ and they give her the title shot, dont complain the. Youre supposed to play that role baby

Why she didnt do that? She might be scared of a fight with Valentina?

If Val does beat Alexa in the rematch, which is very posssble as she was both outstriking and outwrestling Alexa before the submission,
she should go to 135 next. That would be very smart but I doubt it will happen.

She won the belt fair and square...let her enjoy it...Val is on the decline so still on the fence about the rematch but yeah, the division is stacked...she will have trouble vs. Manon and Erin....but hey...I thought Val will run through her and i was wrong...

Now she gotta beat Valentina AGAIN
And if she gets passed her look at the rest of the top 5, those girls are no joke

I don't honestly see Grasso as a champ for too long. She is not ending this year with the belt, watch

All you ever do is being negative as fuck and shit on fighters. Sad.

Your obsession with Valentina is disturbing. She's past her prime and looked awful. Grasso beat her and the fight was even. Stop coping, just accept it and let it go

Agreed. She COULD become champ and reign for longer, but the fact this and Santos went the way they did, if Val gets the win back, she might as well strike while she's still hot at the Nunes fight. That opportunity won't be around forever and could be lost if she continues to gamble

Doesn't really matter. Nobody thought she had a hope in hell (myself included) and now she's wearing the belt.
No matter what happens next in her career, you can't change that she beat the consensus #1 fighter and became the champion.

Amazing acheivment for Alexa.

125 is looking deep all of sudden. That Suarez rematch would be tasty too!!!

Tatiana Suarez could be the champ. She is a better grappler than Erin in every sense, I am only scared by the long layoff and injuries. She already finished Grasso and I think she could do it again.

Epic levels of salt.

If Grasso can get pass Shevchanko again then the only good threats I see is Santos and Blanchfield. Fiorot didn't look that impressive against that boring chick. Andrade is back at strawweight.

Erin is going to be champion by next year. watch.

She earned her belt in a close fight that likely would've been 2-2 going into the 5th had Val survived.

Don't tell me how you scored round 1-3 judges gave Alexa round one, and 2+3 to Val, so if you say Val would've been up three you need to explain why should would've won the 4th.

You could be right but there is definitely a case for saying Shev would have been up 3-1 going into round 5. It's quite often judges don't give much credence to submissions that are close.

Shevchenko may have been on her way to winning that frame as well. According to UFCStats.com, “Bullet” held a 22-to-13 advantage in significant strikes and a 32-to-20 edge in total strikes landed prior to the finish. Instead, her reign ended in shocking fashion after seven mostly dominant title defenses.

Yea she probably won't be champ for long, but I never expected her to be champ at all.

The round was pretty even before Shev's mistake. I don't see an argument for giving her the round.

I'm not arguing for or against it but I just gave a reason. :) "according to UFCStats.com, “Bullet” held a 22-to-13 advantage in significant strikes and a 32-to-20 edge in total strikes landed prior to the finish." That's a pretty signifcant edge in the round.

I'd have to watch it again to be sure but remember thinking Val was cruising to a decision win until the finish. Not that she was doing much damage but I thought she was definitely going to win on points. I was happy anyway since I've been rooting for Grasso since I first saw her in Invicta years ago.
