Everyone was shitting on Velasquez in the build-up to this fight, due to his inactivity and injuries.

Every post I saw that mentioned his name had the usual memes, and I DO get it. Hell, I've posted a ton of them MYSELF over the years.

But these two dudes together, are the heart and soul of their team, and DC has always said that he believes that Cain is the greatest HW of all time, and that no one can push him further in the gym than Velasquez.

BOTH of these warriors fight on the inside, clinch heavy, dirty boxing and ferocious chain-wrestling.

I do believe that Cain being there is EXACTLY what made DC be able to run right thru Miocic. The way these two push each other is legendary.
