He's a big guy, but he's pretty much standard size for a football player. d1 offers does not equal a NFL career. Chances he makes it in MMA are probably 10x better than football or basketball.

The guy is huge but you can't tell his athletic from a photo, he could be uncoordinated as fuck. Would be pretty jokes to see UberTS on the MMA scene though.

If he can goto a school with a good football program it does. Goto a school that actually gets their games televised and he'll become a big name fast.

MMA is a pretty narrow talent pool especially at the HW level, people that big with remotely any athleticism will try for another sport simply because even at the base level the pay is alot higher. If it doesn't work out goto MMA, plenty of athletes have done it and are having some success. Hell Brendan Schaub is a former football player, he's not very good but in the UFC he's easily top ten in HW division. Tells you alot about the talent pool at that level.
