Got to meet Frank Mir today!

the guy in the pic is not the same as in the driver's license. ts found a pic of a guy he thought he looks like. maybe he took a pic of his brother posing with frank mir, who knows.

The first thing you guys think when you see a larger guy is "I hope he has a tiny penis."??

Hahahahaha those responses are unreal.

But seriously...if anyone was wondering what the "new breed" of HW looks like, SHERGOD is a good representative of it. Elite level athletes are now considering MMA whereas before football or some other college sport was their only option.

Not sure why people this its impossible. Klitschko's were around that height/weight in their late teens, you pretty much stop growing at around 18, its not like he's going to be over 7 feet tall and 300lbs lol.

you make feel bad about myself TS. Im 19 5'8 and 138 pounds.

anyways sweet ass pic bro

On the 600lb deadlift, you get your form better and you'll go up significantly, that was almost more of a 'romanian deadlift' you're using a lot of back and not much legs. A lower squat initially and a lot of hip thrust and weight more on your heels. It will be odd at first but you'll see gains quickly.

At 26 I was 180 and doing 565 with straps but my hands could only handle about 450 without them. Check out some technique videos, there are quite a few good ones readily available online.

Good luck at the tournament, I'm a fledgling BJJ guy and basically the same as age Jason Macdonald, awesome that you started catch wrestling so early on.

I just saw this.

Dude, if you have D1 offers, go play football. You will get bigger, stronger, faster, can still train MMA on the side, but most importantly, you will get a free education, and if you have multiple offers, you get to pick where.

Hade to go all Dad shit on your ass, but you really shouldn't pass that opportunity up. MMA will still be around after you are finished with school, but who knows where Div I football might take you.

TS - I implore you as well - PLEASE take one of those D1 scholarships, play ball and get the free education. Not having to pay for your higher education is good enough on its own, not to mention the endless possibilities and opportunities it can afford you. At this point in football and MMA, football is clearly more lucrative. As other have said, train MMA on the side, but football for NOW is the way to go. If your passion is MMA, it will still be there and waiting for that sport to become more profitable while you make your money and secure your future is football is the smart move.

Clearly, you have natural physical gifts that can get you a lot - now is the time to be smart with them, sir.

Now that I said my piece, I can go back to page 9 and see what wonderful things happened to this thread.

War free education.
War football.
War UberTS.

As for people saying NFL only vs MMA. Go with what you like the most or you'll regret it. If you're good at what you do, you'll make a good living either way, particularly as someone of your stature. In order to be 'that good' it means going for something you love. Just take it slowly, don't jump into something too big just because it's a payday, take your time getting there. As a heavy there' not a whole lot of F'ing around, you make a big mistake and it can really hurt your possible career.
