I was lucky enough to get my blue on 05/03/2008 from Gracie Barra Springfield, from professor Marcos Barros.

Congrats! This must be sherdog blue belt month. How long did it take you? What did you have to do before you got it? Any gauntlet or other ritual?
 
props man that is a huge accomplishment keep up the hard work because from what I gather now things start to get interesting.

I have been doing jujitsu for about 3 times per week for a year and a half and I am hoping to get to blue belt soon.

I'm right there with you, except I've been training a little over 2 years. (never was able to stay at a school long enough to be promoted because of always having to move) Hopfully my instructor at this new school will realize it's blue belt month and promote a bunch of us.
 
congrats. just got mine this past Monday. today is my "first day" as a blue. We will see how that goes.
