Got fired from work today

Maybe. The fact still remains that he did something that most people would expect to get fired over. I also wonder what happens if she denies it. If it's just his word against hers then what? I'm sure disgruntled ex-employees make up shit all the time. But I've got no experience in that area of law. My initial comment was simply pointing out that by his own admission he did not get fired for being gay.

It's a shitty position to be in and I'd have advised you to make your move after you found a replacement job.

Life's not fair, it's her company and she's free to hire/fire whomever she wants.
 
Well....you could've told him what you wanted earlier. Like, "Dude can you send me the emails earlier" etc. Work it out with him. Sounds like you're higher rank than he is. So boss him around. Make it work before complaining to the boss.

Also, ask her why you're fired. Employers can't just fire anyone they want. They have to have a valid excuse. If it's because you told her son to do his job, then that's not valid. Also, homophobic slur is good enough evidence to sue. Are you gay? If not, you should probably start pretending and sue her for firing you because she thought you're gay. Any eye witnesses? Make a huge scene and sue.

Cliffs: can't sue you without a valid reason. Sue her if she don't have none and sue her for hate crime.

This has been going on for a while, I went the polite route for a long, long time, like you suggested with "Dude can you send me the e-mails earlier".
 
I think suing is a bitch move. Find another job shit happens.

He is responsible for giivng me the outline of the deadlines that I have to finish, he e-mails them to me and then I do the work.

Well, just like last month, he pretty much E-mails me about 2 weeks worth of work today, the last day of the month when all of this stuff needs to get done. I confer with my boss and tell her there's no way I can finish all this today, and she basically says tough shit.

I've finally had enough, I went face to face with him and told him word for word "You need to learn how to do your fucking job". He got antsy and was like "woah woah woah", and I said "yea, learn how to do your fucking job because you're fucking with my work, nothing was like this before you go there."

Then he get's upset, and goes to his mommy, she comes out and starts berating me, getting in my face and saying shit like "How dare you talk to your co-worker like that?", then I told her that she should have never have hired her spoiled brat son and that he's ruining the office. She says, and I quote, "I'm the boss, and I really don't care what some :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: like you has to say about it, get your shit and get out of here."


I don't think I've ever been more outraged in my life.

Here's hoping you find another job really soon. She is going to have a hard time maintaining good employees if she allows that to continue. You should file for unemployment and talk to lawyer about what happened.

Toxic workplace. Maybe better opportunities are on the horizon.
 
If there is any consolation, your boss will learn the hard way that you were right all along if her boy was indeed lazy and you can only imagine your poor replacement shmuck that has to picking up his slack too. Shes probably too proud to call you back and apologize in order for you to work for her again

Still it would have been a little better if that bridge wasn't burnt for that scenario to happen
 
Fake story. I mean, wouldn't surprise me if you got fired. But she didn't call you a :eek::eek::eek:.
