Never mess with a cat when it's stressed...
Everyone needs to leave the pussy comments alone and branch out some more imo

Heavy stuff too. Like welder’s gloves and something like a carhartt jacket ideally. When dealing with cats, always wear long sleeves and gloves. Learned that the hard way myself.
Should've thrown it into a wood chipper instead.
Threw it in a wire cage I had in the garage.
I'm up-to-date on my vaccinations. I cleaned the wounds with soap and water. I know about the bartonella henselae stuff. I don't think that usually requires treatment most of the time even if you get cat scratch disease, but I'll definitely keep that in mind. That sucks for both you and the cat, if you aren’t up to date on your tetanus get that ASAP and keep an eye on the bites. They get infected super easily, I’ve only had to go to the doctor twice from animal bites and both times it was from a domestic cat.
it most likely doesn’t have rabies, but due to it being a feral and unless it has a microchip it will probably be euthanized and have the head sent in for rabies testing.

So update... yes, that's what I thought would happen. I figured they would either keep it for observation or euthanize it for testing. Turns out they just told my wife it didn't have a chip, there was no easy way to test it, and sent her home. So we still have the cat in a cage. I guess I will try to watch it for the next week or so myself, then get rid of it. I know it's probably low risk, but I also don't want to take an unnecessary chance of dying. Wife has a coworker who wants to adopt the cat. It's a super cute grey tabby with blue eyes. So I'm sure things will be fine, and it will be out of here soon enough.
Yeah, fucking hilarious.Hilarious!
Cats are motherfuckers. Couple months ago my daughters' kitten wouldn't come out from under their bed; fucker bit me and jerked my hand back and the kitten came with it. Was hanging from hand, somehow stuck until I grabbed its neck.
Throw yourself in one first so we can see how it's done.Should've thrown it into a wood chipper instead.
Sounds like @lsa you should sue him.
