GOP blocks access to Trumps tax returns.

Is anyone surprised? I can't even seem to find the will to be outraged about anything to do with Trump. Another day, the GOP and Trump keep doing same shit.

eh, he's not legally required to, and whatever perceived shadiness, i'm not for the government trying to take away his rights.

and the "nothing to hide" rationale is some bullshit, each and every time its been used.

Did you have enough of the Republican witch hunts when Obama was President?

Why is he the only President in 40 years to not disclose his tax returns? Why did he lie saying he couldn't release them because he's under audit?

Well there was only one ofv them and the scale was nothing like we've seen over the past year.

Is normal, and the usual bots rushing to defense is normal.

I'm sure the GOP would have immediately let it go if Obama had refused to release his returns in 2008.

"It's Mr. Obama's right. And, really, no big deal." - Mitch McConnell.

"But Republican lawmakers argued that the resolution was a political effort "
so is blocking them

so what is the righteous basis of the resolution to begin with?

its a resolution to take away someone's right to privacy.

doesn't matter if its Trump, none of us should be for this.

"Trump was the first major-party presidential nominee to not release his tax returns during the campaign in 40 years. He has claimed the reason is because he is under audit, but the IRS has said an audit does not prevent a person from releasing personal tax information."

to repeat "so what is the righteous basis of the resolution to begin with?"

this does not answer it.

he doesn't legally have to. so where's the basis for taking away his legal right?

Liberals still crying about his tax returns...

LOLOLOLOLOLLLLL

I bet your dumb ass doesn't even remember believing him when he said he would release them. It's hilarious to me, your stupidity.

I think even you know that if he won't release them, being a bullshit braggart on all things, he has something major to hide.

As much as I'd love to see the returns and think Trump is a slimeball for lying that he would release them and never do it, I don't think you can force someone to release them.

And it's a sad fact that people voted for him regardless of not following the practice of releasing the returns.

you are correct he doesnt legally have to, but im fucked if i know what "righteous basis" means
how about not being a lying cunt who has to cover up his constant bullshitting.

What would happen to someone at the IRS if this shit got out via leak?

being a lying cunt is good enough for you to take away a right from someone. that's where your morals lie?

do you not see the consequences with messing with privacy rights just to stick it to one particular person one the other side of the aisle?

It would be great if Obama lead this charge. He released his birth certificate, what are Donald, and the Trumpleforeskins, so afraid of?

he has a right to privacy, but if he lies about the reason for not releasing them im ok with calling him a lying cunt, it aint my morals in question , precisely the opposite.
