What a bunch of casuals in this thread who don't appreciate the historic partnership between the UFC and Facebook.

For the longest time, there was no way to watch the early prelims live for UFC events. Instead, you could typically only watch 2-4 prelims on Spiketv ahead of the PPV.

Beginning with UFC 126 this all changed, as the UFC wanted a way to air Kid Yamamoto vs Demetrious Johnson for the fans.

The solution? Air it on Facebook. And so UFC 126 was the beginning of "Facebook prelims", and the ability of MMA fans around the world to watch the early prelims live.
