Goodbye Fedor vs. Crocop: The HW division is on a whole new level now

Replaced by one guy who admittedly "fought like a bitch," and another guy who choked once he got tired??

It's a PED, correct? Does TRT not enhance their performance in training and in the fight?

And who gives a shit if everyone was using or knew that they could without repercussion. I'm pretty confident that every high level fighter in MMA pre USADA has used something that is currently banned by USADA.

I was listing Werdum's losses because you said Werdum tapped out Fedor and then lost to a bunch of MW and LHW's. Werdum didn't lose to any LHW's or HW's, as I listed.

That's very funny you mention Russians and steroids. Maybe you need to look a little harder cause by my numbers the Brazilians won the championship for MMA fighters caught using PED's.

Fedor has never tested positive for any PED's and he's been tested multiple times every year in the USA since 2006.

Fedor has been tested in less than 10% of his career MMA fights.
 
i see what you're doing but you're actually proving your original point

cro cop was one dimensional striker and his gameplan was obvious
that's why fedor could defend the kicks with such ease, as long as he prepared in the correct way

stipe has a much more complete MMA game, so it was difficult for DC to defend the liver shots once Stipe made the adjustment

Doesn't matter he was tested in every fight he's had in the USA. When you look at statistics of those caught using PED"s it's usually older athletes that feel the need to use it in order to heal up faster and give them more strength. So that 10% has been done from 2006 to present day at a time when most fighters usually use PED's. The man has been clean his whole career never been caught using PED's when most fighters during that time have been caught.

LHW has clearly dropped off as well, Jones obviously has a claim to be the best fighter we've seen at 205 but depth wise its a fucking wasteland in recent years. Guys getting into the top 10 or even top 5 who would have been lucky to be top 20 a decade ago.

Back in the Pride era I would say HW, LHW and LW were clearly the strongest divisons, mostly because they had the most invested in them although I spose you could argue a lot of the LW's of that era would be BW's today.

The best MMA is in the ring and PRIDE rules, and this is the real record. UFC and cage are simply bad rules and inferior version of MMA,
And Cro Cop beat twice more good HW's than Cain or Cormier.

I know you will say that Cain beat Kongo, but King Mo also beat Kongo, and then you will say that Cain beat Rothwell, but then Ibragim Magomedov also beat Rothwell. Etc, etc. Even Ron Waterman beat 2 UFC champions Randleman and Ricco Rodriguez while they were in Top 10 and on very good score, and certain V. Overeem who beat holding UFC champion Couture and UFC contenders Sobral & Freeman a year before his fight with Waterman. And then Yoshida beat UFC champion Frye while he was 15-1, & Hunt. And those are lesser ones among of Cro Cop's good wins.

Very true as well regarding LHW. I think the best LHW division was UFC from 2009 to 2012 with Jones, Shogun, Machida, Rampage, Hendo, Gus, Forrest, Rashad, Glover, Chuck, Bader, Davis, Tito, Rogerio Nog, Fejao, Thiago Silva, Jardine. That's pretty stacked.
