Give it to Machida without falling for that flailing windmills (a style making a resurgence as it nearly gave Holm the win over Cyborg last time) and wall and stall crap. Seeing that Felder idiot claim how Anders was winning without landing anything except those two strikes that bloodied him in the clinch and that big left hand was atrocious. Then all the idiots climb on that bandwagon of Anders winning while getting countered all night long. They didn't show total fight stats but I'd be willing to bet that Lyoto outlanded him at least 2-1 and with much harder shots as well.

So it wasn't just me! Thank you! All these robbery comments haha.. thought I was losing my mind.

Felder isn't an idiot. Take a deep breath and relax. It was a close fight. Folks are going to disagree on who they thought won.

Idiot is overkill, but he has a very obvious bias to certain fighters that clouds his judgement. And this fight is only a very mild example of that.

32-64 in significant strikes, so 2-1 was about right.

I disagree based on my impression of Felder. In this fight he thought Anders was edging it, but also warned he shouldn't be complacent in the fifth because ti was a close fight and it wasn't clear which way the judge were seeing it.

Most often when sports fans complain about commentators being biased it is because the fans are biased which makes the commentators even-handed seem suspect to them. Biased commentary does happen from time to time, but I don't think Felder calling Anders vs Machida is an example of it.

Yep. If you take away the forward movement of Anders and Lyoto's mobility, laughably called "running" by some here, Machide got the best of most of the exchanges. Anders landed two or three nice lefts as counters off of kicks, and two or three knees in the clinch as well. The rest of the time Machida was outlanding him.

Take away the left and the knee and Machida stumbling against the cage and that was really it.

People are always going to complain. I thought it was awesome to watch 40 year old Machida stick and move on a young powerhouse like Anders.

Good night of fights.
