What movies are considered good or decent by most people that you thought sucked and shut off?

For me transformers 3 was terrible. I got to the point where Shea was in a building with some Asian guy who was making ridiculous facial expressions and was a horrible actor. I couldn't take anymore and I liked the first 2 movies.

Also dredd was utterly terrible. I was so bored by the story by the 5th or so over done slow more scene I shut it off

Blade Runner.

I love Sci-fi but i found it to be incredibly boring.

The Sixth Sense

Anyone who didn't guess the twist after 5 mins is........well, you know.

I second Blade Runner.

I'll add Crash (Oscar winner for Best Picture), Sin City and 25th Hour

You shut off sin city? How dare you show ur face around here

The Assassination of Jesse James

I remember shutting it off about the half hour mark because I had something to do. Until now, I haven't revisited the film. The movie wasn't bad but just not compelled to finish it.

Brokeback Mountain. Had a hard time finishing that movie. Nothing to do with man-on-man, I just found it hard to sit through.

Dredd 2012, has a respectable 7.1 IMDB rating and I am an action fan...i just thought it was retarded

Lost in Translation. just found the first ten-fifteen minutes or so pretty slow and dull. didn't give it much of a chance to be honest- so i would revisit.

Synecdoche, New York. Which was quite unfortunate because the other movies that Kaufman scripted were absolutely brilliant. But Synecdoche was so pretentious and confused that it changed my entire outlook on him.

I remember actually that I read a couple of his scripts, particularly A Scanner Darkly and Synecdoche, and I put both of the scripts down around page 20 and never picked them up again because they had no plotline developing and just seemed like random scenes. His Scanner Darkly script was never used, and it's clear that since Synecdoche had no changes, Kaufman thinks this is good storytelling. Bizarre. I have to wonder what happened with his previous efforts that they ended up so coherent. Maybe Spike Jonze and Michel Gondry deserve more credit.

Reservoir dogs, several times. Bloody torture it is.

Dredd
Reservoir Dogs
Lost in Translation
When Harry Met Sally
History of Violence
The Kings Speech
Royal Tennenbaums
Punch Drunk Love
Sideways
Dumb and Dumber
Bad Santa
Napoleon Dynamite
Shaun of the Dead
Clerks

These films make me want to spit at the screen.

Transformers 2 was bad too..too much overacting

I hardly ever turn a movie off cuz...I am a movie fan. Sideways takes the cake tho.

I've only walked out of one movie in my life and that was Visitor Q, which I can't imagine is that well regarded outside of a very niche market of hard core Miike fans.

Oh, and american pie. Fuck that movie.
