Loved the muay Thai onslaught he threw in the third round. Real disciplined, technical fighter (besides the flying knees), nice to see him getting a big W to his credit after a good performance against Gastelum. You can tell he works hard and is building his skillset, I love to see fighters really improve and not stagnate. I think he really deserved this win, he earned it, he could have looked for a way out from those Lombard bombs
 
Always awesome to see a super HUMBLE, nice guy overcome adversity, and beat a super cocky, seemingly unbeatable foe as well. :D

I was happy for him too, he's come a long way from getting elbowed unconscious by the side-man of Rory MacDonald a.k.a. Mike Ricci.

I hope Magny continues to improve, wouldn't mind a new contender or 2 at Welterweight.
