I was just wondering what the good fats are.I seen a food label with three of them on there. Also whats a good source or healthy fats?

Peanut butter, Nuts... dunno for sure but Ive heard olive oil is good for you

Olive oil is a monousaturated fat, which is the good kind. So is canola oil and almond oil.

Almonds would be the best source from nuts. Get non roasted raw ones. Expensive, they go for about 4-6 bucks a bag here in CA.

The three types of fats you see on a food label are: saturated fats, unsaturated fats and trans fatty acids. You want to keep your intake of trans and saturated fats to a minimum, but you also want to eat your unsaturated fats in moderation.

As everyone already stated nuts are going to be your best source of unsaturated fats along with cooking oils such as vegetable oil, canola oil, yadda yadda yadda.

Just for your info, you can generally tell if an oil is saturated or unsaturated by the form it takes at room temperature. If the oil assumes a liquid form then it's going to be more unsaturated. If an oil solidifies at room temperature, that means it's more saturated and to stay far far away from it.

Furthermore, unsaturated fats can be classified into monunsaturated and polyunsaturated. Although both are good, monounsaturated is considered the best.
