Wow of all the days, today happen to be the day that the class did open mat sparring. No choice, i joined with my 0 experience of ground grappling although I use to do judo 10 years ago for 4 years.
It was only 6 people and we did 4 min rounds with 1 min rest in between. Oh boy, I didn't get to submit a single one but I did manage to not get submitted by 2 of them although the other 3 submitted me 2 times each in the 4 min rounds.

It was fun. My problem is, I don't know where do you place your hands to control the opponent when your under side control? I noticed I got arm triangled pretty easily

Keep your elbows tucked to your ribs. Your hands can go wherever you want them within that t-rex radius.

Thanks, II'll keep that in mind. I think next week, in the next class I'm just gonna go straight pulling guard to work on my full guard. I was grip fighting too much today, which wasted alot of the training time trying to get the advantageous position.

Just keep going. Youll figure out where the hands go.

Why is Rdude a hot chick?
