To be fair, much of this stuff was happening prior to what we know as “science based medicine” (although the marketing tactics are very similar now and then). As such, proponents of the current western medical paradigm will claim all of this is behind us…

While certain elements of medicine were altruistic and have done exceptional things for the quality of life of humankind, never forget that it's also the springboard for some of the earliest and nastiest observances of grifting for dollars. To think that that hasn't been professionally refined into the modern, chaotic, never-ending opinion sphere of today is naive.

I wonder what a doctor today will tell you about any of these things and if they are still used. If you go into a hospital today, there is no difference to 100 years ago right? If you break your leg today will you trust into the knowledge they accumulated over the last centuries and let them use modern equipment or you gonna say "no doc, you were wrong 100 years ago so I can't trust you". The fact you still think this is an good argument and actually took the time to look up these images is pretty amazing and funny.

Why did so many doctors fall prey to pharma sales people and push a drug epidemic that has led to the death of millions?

I'm surprised at how many people I see are still wearing masks everywhere. I even see people wearing masks while driving alone in their cars.

I sure don't. I hated wearing a mask, and if I don't have to wear one like that again in my life, I would be happy!

not at all. only exception is if someone is immune compromised and they are wearing a mask themselves.

My gym and workplace require it. It's pretty much the only places I've worn it since the beginning.

No, although I wouldn't be surprised if I'm required to do so later this winter at some of work sites I go to.

Regarding the folks still wearing them, many people have auto immune disorders or are around others with them and want to be extra careful. I also think many people have adopted the habit of wearing one when you have a cold, which is a common practice in many other countries.

lol no. Two masks cant stop visible dust from getting threw doing renos but will stop a microscopic virus right.

I do. For i work in close proximity to large amounts of people in confined spaces. Where each job site is filled with new individuals. If someone is the carrier it would be me. Overall i dont want that on my conscious. As of late i have begun witnessing more hosts/hostesses upset that i am wearing one on initial introduction.

How things go this winter will dictate if i continue wearing one in the Spring.

Is that something they are thinking of doing? When I went to Quebec and Ontario this past summer, we didnt have to mask up, and it was nice!

We haven't had masks here in Saskatchewan for awhile now and that has been nice as well.
