We all need to do that sometimes; take a step back and admit we were wrong on something. People are so angry and entrenched these days we don't give each other the opportunity to save face and apologize at all. A good thing to keep in mind as we start the week

I'd love for them to take that step, but there's no way. Especially in California. They can't... the lawsuits would quickly pile uip

Tinhorn Flats (the restaurant that defied outdoor dining mandates) is in a heated lawsuit with the City of Burbank.

And remember this time last year... We were all facing an illegal vaccine mandate Biden tried to push through OSHA, because he's too giant a pussy to get it legistated through the Senate/House. That would making Democrats vote on these terrible policies instead of using unelected officials in one of the alphabet Fed orgs.

they were cited for allowing outdoor dining? seems like local government took things too far there

I dont know why she'd even take Paxlovid under mild symptoms. She got the new booster (which is why her symptoms are mild).

Paxlovid risks rebounds and should only be reserved for at risk people (over 65 and/or immunocompromised)

Are you questioning the science???? What’s wrong with you

I think that's it. Imagine, you are perfectly fine. Morons mandate a experimental drug and shit just pops off.

Granted, it's not everyone but the numbers are so messed up. IE 700+ apply for vaccine support due to injury and 8???? approved.

How many more couldn't get a legit doctor to sign? How many more are injured? The article is old. That's what's reported.

How many more are not even cognizant that shit is not right?

One of the 1st places to bend the knee was the churches and religious institutions contrary to they're doctrine.

There were several places in America that pushed back but not the norm. Majority folded like a wet noodle Contrary to the doctrine.
Yeah it’s messed up. I think people should have expected this to happen though. The pharmaceutical companies were immune to compensation and you’d have to be naive to expect the government to compensate you for your injuries. In a fair world they would - especially after mandating the shots and shaming you for not getting them - but that’s not the world we live in.

In the U.K., it’s possible (although extremely difficult) to get a 120k payout, but I believe that you lose access to any other benefits that you may have. 120k just isn’t that much money either if your life has been turned upside down.

It’s very difficult to get a doctor to acknowledge that you have had vaccine side effects. It’s also really, really difficult to get a medical exemption. I went to a doctor and attempted to get one (I had some good reasons) but from what I could gather, the doctor would have to justify the exemption to people overseeing him and he could get in a lot of trouble if they disagreed with his opinion. Basically the only way to get an exemption was to get injured from the first jab, but then again, you might get shunned if you dare to make that claim.

In my cuck fest country, you pretty much needed to get rekt. Even then 99% won't put there name on it. Use buzz words "investigating. "

I know a guy that got a letter saying the above. Told on phone "you suffered a severe allergic reaction." Of course he denies it. Doesnt matter he recorded the convo.

All the comments below the Atlantic tweet are saying similar things. People want pandemic accountability not amnesty.

Never forget... Even they desperately want you to forget

Thank god Progressives didn't have control of the Supreme Court or we'd all be under a Vaccine Mandate now. Sotomayer is an embarrassment and has no business being on the Supreme Court

All this talk about forgiveness, but people need to fearlessly look at themselves …I understand work related and financial pressure left some people with little choice…
But WTF , wearing these stupid masks, staying away from family…how could people fail so miserably and allow themselves to be led around like a mindless mannequins….

Someone fell dOver. Tiffany Dover style.

There are still people so beholden to the narrative that they think Tiffany is alive.

Tbh I certainly suspect Tiffany is dead but I don't know. BUT if not she'd be tubed up and as dead as you can be while still alive just sad that her family are more than happy for this to happen to others, guess the cash eases the pain of empathy

I'll forgive regular plebs. That's not the same as forgetting. And not by a long shot. To me they're like the ex who turned out to be a whore.

I'll never forgive all the fuck ups, intentional lies and arbitrary fuckery by those in positions of power. From Trump downplaying the pandemic, to Fauci obviously selling out, to small fish politicians reveling in new found power, to the downright criminally negligent murderers who put Covid patients in old folks homes, they'd all be under a microscope/magnifying glass if I had my way.

Regular fools are just that. Fools at best and useful idiots at worse. "The feet stink because of the head" is an idiom from the old country.

Wake up sheeple

That’s embarrassing but that’s not what gematria is. The far-right crowd seem to have discovered it recently but they’re not using it correctly and they honestly have no idea what they’re talking about. If you actually look into real gematria, it’s actually very interesting. Most people will dismiss it of course, but there’s a hell of a lot of ‘coincidences’.

I don't disagree with you about the dangers. The problem is that, EVERYONE was complicit. Entire collapse of the rule of law and order.

The biggest joke was the abortion nonsense after the rights of bodily autonomy was overtaken. The lockdowns weren't just never mind a experimental drug. It was all highly unethical as is the abundance of cardiac, blood clots, and other issues.

If someone went on a cocaine bender, they wouldn't hesitate for a second to point out the culprit. A experimental drug.... and many of these pharmaceutical companies wanted to hide the facts afterwards.

Say 1 in a million has severe health issues, this warrants not doing that. Clearly, there's an issue. A number of students got threatened to be removed from their degree programs while in their final year despite school online.

It's absolute BS. Worse were now parents who were complicit with this.I hope these schools get sued into oblivion following any injuries following coercion. I hope the same for companies that threatened termination.

No holding my breath. It's been highly illegal from the jump.

With respect to religion, it was noticed the Muslim community pushed back more than majority of other religions. A lot of others were cowardly and quick to bend the knee not to God but big pharmaceutical companies and government.

Majority were American churches. a lot of other places were cowards.

Morons would argue the religion didn't say it was against vaccine.

Majority of churches globally bent all bent the knee not to God but tyranny. It's sickening to see how cowardly the majority was.

It was evil. The links aren't back pages on some tinfoil hat internet thread.
In regards to religion, this was quite a big headline here:
Jesus would get a vaccine, Archbishop of Canterbury suggests as he says getting the jab is 'not about me and my rights to choose - it's about how I love my neighbour'

The Archbishop of Canterbury has implied that Jesus would get vaccinated against Covid.

Justin Welby suggested that people who refuse to get jabbed are 'immoral' as he told people to 'love one another, as Jesus said'.

Asked by ITV News if being vaccinated is a 'moral issue', the archbishop said: 'I'm going to step out on thin ice here and say yes, I think it is.

'A lot of people won't like that, but I think it is because it's not about me and my rights.

'Now obviously there are some people who, for health reasons, can't be vaccinated – different question – but it's not about me and my rights to choose. It's about how I love my neighbour.

'Vaccination reduces my chances – doesn't eliminate – but it reduces my chances of getting ill and reducing my chances of getting ill reduces my chances of infecting others. It's very simple.

'So I would say yes, to love one another – as Jesus said – get vaccinated, get boosted.'

This POS shouldn’t be telling anybody what to do

Justin Welby failed to alert police when a priest was accused of sexually assaulting a worshipper – despite knowing that he was a convicted :eek::eek::eek::eek:phile.

Canon John Roberts was later jailed for offences against three people, one of them the accuser who had gone to Mr Welby.

The Daily Mail can today reveal that Mr Welby, then dean of Liverpool, rejected the worshipper's claims, and even banned him from the city's cathedral for being 'abusive and threatening' in 2011.

He instead accepted Roberts' denials and urged him to 'avoid meeting people in homes alone'.

Roberts, 87, who had a 1989 conviction for indecent assault but was allowed to return to work, is serving a nine-year prison sentence.

No surprise to see him here

I know people that lost houses, families and in one case a baby, every single one will want accountability thank you very much and by that a lot want capital punishment.

If I'm drunk and run over your kid, cost you your home or family you're happy with an sincere apology?

Bearing in mind this is far from over, once again get your bloods done because all of the antithinkers are in for a very very rude fucking shock and going off the last 2 years they'll be the ones screaming for blood.

LET’S DECLARE A PANDEMIC AMNESTY
https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2022/10/covid-response-forgiveness/671879/

We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID.

These precautions were totally misguided. In April 2020, no one got the coronavirus from passing someone else hiking. Outdoor transmission was vanishingly rare. Our cloth masks made out of old bandanas wouldn’t have done anything, anyway. But the thing is: We didn’t know.

Some of these choices turned out better than others. To take an example close to my own work, there is an emerging (if not universal) consensus that schools in the U.S. were closed for too long: The health risks of in-school spread were relatively low, whereas the costs to students’ well-being and educational progress were high. The latest figures on learning loss are alarming. But in spring and summer 2020, we had only glimmers of information. Reasonable people—people who cared about children and teachers—advocated on both sides of the reopening debate.

.......
We have to put these fights aside and declare a pandemic amnesty. We can leave out the willful purveyors of actual misinformation while forgiving the hard calls that people had no choice but to make with imperfect knowledge. Los Angeles County closed its beaches in summer 2020. Ex post facto, this makes no more sense than my family’s masked hiking trips. But we need to learn from our mistakes and then let them go. We need to forgive the attacks, too. Because I thought schools should reopen and argued that kids as a group were not at high risk, I was called a “teacher killer” and a “génocidaire.” It wasn’t pleasant, but feelings were high. And I certainly don’t need to dissect and rehash that time for the rest of my days.

The Atlantic Wants to Declare a Pandemic Amnesty. I Say Hell No.

So let’s get very clear who Emily personifies. Emily personifies the mom who scared her four-year-old son so badly about a virus that had a minuscule chance of harming him that he screamed at another girl trying to enjoy a leisurely stroll on a bridge. Emily personifies the woman who accused you of wanting to harm people’s grandparents for not wearing a mask while food shopping. Emily personifies the woman who gave you snide looks when you tried to eat on an airplane, and Emily calls you a dangerous disinformation spreader if you advocate for informed consent before taking a novel gene experiment.

Emily is now trying to move the goalposts because they’ve lost, and accountability isn’t attractive.

Understand, these are the people who destroyed global life for two straight years for no reason other than blind tyranny. The data showing this was out early, but people like Emily said it was all misinformation while also believing that a HOMEMADE CLOTH MASK would stop a microscopic virus from entering your airways. Very data driven. Very “science.” I will give it a minute. I know it’s hard to even comprehend. I mean, data and analytics and all.

These are the people who advocated the unvaccinated be locked in their homes, unable to travel, fired, a scourge on polite society. The people that said the unvaccinated should be shunned, scorned, and ridiculed, all while trying to coax YOUR FAMILY into getting a shot for the good of the elders. A shot, by the way, that has been proven so deadly, we are seeing a once in a lifetime happening surrounding excess deaths. Let that sink in for a moment.

And now that all of this information is coming out to the fore, now that we will have Fauci sitting for depositions, and the proof that all of the establishment “Emily’s” have colluded with social media so YOU couldn’t speak is coming out, Emily wants to just let bygones be bygones and move on. I mean, people make mistakes, right (nervous laugh.) We can’t FAULT people for making mistakes!

Oh, no, Emily, we can, and we will. COVID and everything surrounding it will NOT be swept under the rug so that people like you can avoid being held accountable for the absolute HELL you put everyone through for more than 2 years. We will not allow you to decimate the human race and all of society and walk off into the sunset because “we made a mistake, mmkay?”

The stolen election, the babies who didn’t get to see faces for years and learn human interaction, the kids who committed suicide because you ripped them out of school, the kids who missed their proms and graduations, the families who couldn’t bury their dead while George Floyd had 6 funerals, the children who didn’t get to say goodbye to their moms and dads in nursing homes, the evil mRNA rollout and ongoing fall out from that- the most consequential human suffering in history, the death, the destruction, the economic fallout, the censorship, the lies, the tyranny.

We won’t forget your demonization of safe and effective early treatment that could’ve saved thousands of lives and the forced treatment using unsafe drugs like Remdesivir. We won’t forget how you have attacked world-renowned physicians who have stepped up to be the champions to save those lives, stripping them of their licenses and credentials because they didn’t toe the line. We won’t forget what you have done to taint the population on the safety and efficacy of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. Horse paste, anyone? We also won’t forget how you tried to gaslight the world into thinking President Trump said people should inject BLEACH. You even pulled this little bit of misinformation into your “Amnesty” request. You have learned nothing. You know nothing. And you will not be forgiven for continuing your ignorance in favor of your societal “safety.”

You should learn a thing or two about COVID. You can start here.

No, you don’t get “amnesty” for this level of destruction. There will be justice and accountability, and this will never be allowed to happen again.

And a warm and fuzzy little op-ed in “The Atlantic” isn’t convincing anyone otherwise.

If you missed my message to humanity, read it now here.

CDC director tests positive for COVID-19 again after Paxlovid treatment
Oct. 31 (UPI) -- The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, has tested positive again for COVID-19. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced Monday that he also tested positive for the virus.

Walensky, who has been isolating at her Massachusetts home since she was first diagnosed on Oct. 21, started developing mild symptoms and tested positive again on Sunday after taking a course of Pfizer's antiviral pill Paxlovid, the CDC said in a statement.

"CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky experienced mild symptoms from her recent COVID-19 infection, completed a course of Paxlovid, and, after a period of isolation, tested negative for the virus," the CDC said Monday.

"On Sunday, Dr. Walensky began to develop mild symptoms and has again tested positive. Consistent with CDC guidelines, she is isolating at home and will participate in her planned meetings virtually," the CDC added.

RELATEDCOVID-19 symptoms can return with or without treatment

The CDC has reported on Paxlovid rebound, which causes COVID-19 symptoms to return after a patient takes the five-day regimen of the antiviral.

While the pills have proven effective in preventing serious disease and death among older people, and those who are immunocompromised, they have provided less benefit for younger adults who can experience a return of symptoms.

As Walensky, 53, recovers from her rebound COVID-19 case, Gov. Hogan tweeted he has isolated, as well.

RELATEDCOVID-19 world weekly cases down 19% but new subvariant spreading

"Just wanted to let Marylanders know that after testing positive for COVID-19, I am working from home," Hogan said Monday. "Fortunately, I'm up to date on my boosters and my symptoms are minimal."

This is the second time Hogan, 66, has been diagnosed with COVID-19. He tested positive for the virus in a breakthrough case last year.

As COVID-19 cases continue to ease worldwide with the latest weekly numbers showing a 19% drop in cases and a 15% drop in deaths, two new Omicron sub variants, XBB and BQ.1, have emerged.
