Damn, when it comes back to you.

But we know Biden and Pelosi have no morals and don't give a fuck. No organized twitterati, and no complaining from the msm about some xenophobic/racist narrative etc.

We need a mega thread for all the examples of when conservatives do it then its white nationalism.

If the left didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at all.

If the right could tell the difference between a llama and an orange, you guys wouldn't be so often confused at all of the so-called 'hypocrisy' you think you see on the left.

The ban on China in and of itself wasn't what the left's problem was.
"No, how could you ban China?" was what you were hearing liberals on TV saying?
The problem was the Trump administration's downplaying of the virus, the sloppy way it was being handled, making it a US vs China political pissing match, calling it the "Chinese" virus, which doesn't help to differentiate the Chinese government from the Chinese people (an important thing considering that we have millions of Chinese Americans), and the Trump administration already had a bad track record of banning nations on what appeared to be for cultural/racial/religious reasons.

How exactly does all of that look like the present situation with Biden?

Biden called Trump a xenophobe directly after banning travel from China; it was clearly in relation to that. If you can't even acknowledge that, the rest of your post isn't even worth reading.

This is as bad as people claiming people weren't against border detentions, but how Trump was doing it now that it is abundantly clear the same conditions (or worse) are occurring now.

Complete hackery.

Xenophobic, hypocrite Biden just banned all travel from India effective Tuesday, May 4th.

"The administration will restrict travel from India starting immediately," Psaki told reporters. "The policy will be implemented in light of extraordinarily high COVID-19 caseloads and multiple variants circulating in India."

Hilarious and hypocritical, considering he previously said this, when Trump was President.

Biden, proving Trump was right after all.

Looking forward to the WR regulars who called Trump a xenophobe, showing how consistent they are and calling Biden one too.

Only thing xenophobic about this is: why did he not do it earlier? India is the epicentre and has nasty mutations this intervention just like the aid he offered India is too little too late. When he was negotiating that afghan pull out in the same region he should have sent supplies to India earlier and kept an eye out for our national security as well from a covid point of view

Its funny watching the mental gymnastics and frantic goal post shifting.

Doesn't this make Biden a Nazi? ... and his followers must be White Supremacists... or some stupid shit like that.

Doesn't matter how much we point out the hypocrisy and lack of common sense to leftards. They either just don't care or are too stupid to understand.

Nuremberg? You must be on your period.

You think just because they're brown they have to be dressed like baked potatoes? And Christ, you chose the photo of the Kamala Harris book welcome package into the concentration camp? My God, there is no end to your depravity.

I can't see any reason other than pure racism to make this move. Its obvious why Biden got the endorsements from basically every white supremacist out there, from David Duke to Richard Spencer.

Former KKK leader endorses Trump for president again – and Tucker Carlson for VP

David Duke, one of the US’s most notorious racist extremists, has reiterated his support for Donald Trump’s re-election campaign and suggested the president replace his current vice president, Mike Pence, with Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

In relation to that, not solely and completely because of that one single act--as I said.
There isn't one single thing that people look at to judge people in most of these situations. The left's reaction to Trump was not based on one single action, it was based off of multiple factors and the history of Donald Trump.
There is a world where Trump could have made a travel ban on China and not have been labeled as a xenophobe. The act in and of itself is not what the core of the issue was.
You would have got that if you read my whole post.

It's a fair question but not that easy to answer.

First of all, he says it, then he cites studies which anyone can look up, which I do. Stating the medial consensus is his actual job.

Second of all every single medical professional I trust in the media backs him up. Some do deep dives into what he's claiming and show the work.

Finally, my father who is a doctor trusts him absolutely, and he's a man who doesn't trust easily.
You stated that Fauci "only talks about the current medical consensus", and I asked you to support that statement.

Are citations of studies, statements by medical professionals you trust in the media, or the statements of your father the doctor equivalent to the medical consensus to you?

Are you part of any occupational group? Imagine that someone presumed to speak for the opinion of the consensus of that group. Would you want that assertion of consensus to be supported with some kind of data like a survey?
