I’m in Belize right now. They’ve had a 9:30pm curfew since March 2020 and have to wear masks everywhere outside even if they are alone and no one within 200 feet of them.

What about out on the flats fishing Tarpon? Masks out there?

dont we have one Toy' rus store left in Canada or something like that? i am not sure if these restrictions is helping them either and somehow a small virus like the covid they are reminding you the media that is you can get more infected and sick at a store full of kids and parents willing to buy board games and toys for their children.

Is this how much desperate some are to push the covid vaccination with? more of their usual same typical nonsense from the news media?

The same news media which had pushed the AZ for the three weeks before the changes were saying how safe and effective the AZ covid vaccines was and now some of those news media outlets are saying well getting a blood clot is rare side effect.

Except that's not what I'm doing, it's a representative democracy. Some of the choices are "hard" because they cost votes and reduce the chance of re-election.

We have that same curfew here in Montreal.

I don't know what the rules are for masks outside, I don't think we have the same rule as you, but mask wearing at work as just tightened up a lot.

I don't know what the rules are for masks outside, I don't think we have the same rule as you, but mask wearing at work as just tightened up a lot.

Someone at work who is really dialed in to news told me that they’re planning to pass legislation for mask to be worn outside in Montreal.

I won’t do it. That’s my limit. I won’t concede my fresh air! Will you?

I really hope they do it. Because I will be able to feel like a rebel everyday of the week!!!

EXACTLY what I said a few pages ago, or in the other Canada thread. It's a deliberate, national squeeze to try and increase the vaccine uptake. More than one way to skin a cat, right?

Fucking hell, can't imagine what the vibe is like on Caye Caulker right now. The locals were a pretty unfriendly bunch when I was there a few years back, unless you had white backpacker chicks with you.......I can't imagine how fucked they are being in lockdown essentially for over a year, I bet they've had absolutely next to no tourism or income.

I was gonna go to the DR in the winter, but they increased their curfew to, get this.......MIDDAY to 6am. And that was with next to no covid. That is insanity, giving people 6hrs a day to do EVERYTHING then locking them indoors for 18 hours.

I've worked all through the pandemic and worn a mask the whole time. There are plenty of people who have had to wear masks all day since long before the pandemic and none have reported adverse effects.

Not being able to congregate is a hardship.

Wearing a mask is a slight inconvenience I barely notice any more.
